Srinagar, February 15 (KNO) : Police on Friday afternoon fired some tear gas shells to disperse some boys from Alla Peer locality of Poonch town after confrontation erupted between boys from two sides. As per reports with KNO, amid protest against Srinagar CRPF convoy attack, boys from two groups in Poonch Alla Peer locality engaged in confrontation which increased and stone pelting took place during which two cars were also damaged. Soon police team rushed to the spot and used tear gas shells to disperse the boys and situation was brought under control. "We reached their timely and prevented situation from taking ugly turn. Tear gas shells were used to disperse the boys,” said a police official. He told KNO that two cars parked in the area were also damaged in stone pelting. He said that cognizance of the matter has been taken and those indulged in the incident will be taken to task.(KNO)
